Burial services are usually held in your church (place of worship), cemetery chapel or simply at the graveside. The committal will then follow at the graveside. In some religions a burial can be an essential and for many families there is a desire to be buried together. Should new graves be available it is usually a lot more expensive than a cremation. The grave depth may be dug for more than one interment but this decision should be made at the time of booking the funeral.
Woodlands Burials
Some cemeteries offer woodland burials, these are usuallyfor one interment only, the grave is only marked with a temporary marker, traditional memorials such as headstones are not permitted.
Re-opening a grave
If a family grave already exists, the owner will have to give there consent to open the grave. The memorial if applicable will have to be removed and replaced after twelve months.

Many boroughs still have new graves. The price and availability vary considerably from cemetery, church yard and if the deaceased/grave owner are parishioners. Each borough cemeteryhave different regulations therefore there is no norm, each interment fee will be chacked with cemetery authorities. This can only be confirmed when we are able to provide the cemetery with the external measurements of the coffin or casket.
Many cemeteries charge an additional digging costs for caskets due to there size.
Many cemeteries no longer accept metal caskets as they are not considered environmentally friendly.
